Ingredients

  • 1 tbs oil
  • 500g beef strips
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 200g button mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1 x 295g can Campbell’s Cream of Mushroom Condensed Soup
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • Garnish with fresh parsley

Method

  • Step 1

    Heat oil in a large saucepan over high heat. Add beef strips and cook over a high heat until browned, about 5 minutes. Remove and set aside. Add onion and mushrooms and cook for 5 minutes or until softened. Add paprika and cook for 1 minute.
  • Step 2

    Return beef to pan. Add Campbells Cream of Mushroom Condensed soup and ½ can of water, mix well. Bring to boil, reduce heat to medium- low and simmer covered, stirring occasionally, for 15 minutes.
  • Step 3

    stir in sour cream just before serving. Serve with cooked pasta, rice or mashed potato if desired.
  • Step 4

    Garnish with parsley.
